Nicely Lighting installs permanent outdoor LED lighting for homes in Raleigh, North Carolina and the surrounding area. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us, what we do with it, and who else sees it.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. That is normally:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you give one
- Your address or the part of town you are in, so we know whether we cover you
- Anything else you type into a form or a message
You can reach us through a form on this website, or through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram. A Facebook or Instagram form may fill in your name, phone and email automatically from your profile. You can edit those before you submit, and nothing reaches us until you do.
What we use it for
To reply to you, to work out whether your home is a fit, to give you a quote, and to arrange the work if you go ahead. That is the whole list.
We do not sell your information, and we never will. We do not share it with data brokers, advertisers or list buyers.
Who else sees it
Two kinds of people, and no one else:
- Marvelous Lights, our install partner, who carry out the installation. They receive what they need to schedule and complete your job.
- The services that run our business, such as the company that hosts this website, the one that stores our records, and the one that sends our email and text messages. They process the information on our behalf and cannot use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, you are agreeing that we can contact you about your enquiry by phone or text. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting you. Asking us to stop texting does not remove your other options for reaching us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records while we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can honour warranties and answer questions about work we did. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Call or text (919) 480‑8884 and say what you want done. We will not ask you to justify the request.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses basic analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. If you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta may record that the click happened, under Meta's own privacy policy, which we do not control.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date below.
